A Single Tear
I was left all alone to cry to myself But to my surprise no tears ran down my face I was left all alone by the love of my life He left 4 another But yet i still didn’t cry I was left all alone As I stood in the street Sad as I was No tears came to the scene I was left all alone My heart, broken Pain building up inside My hopes all shattered I was left all alone With no one to love With no one to hold With only hurt alongside me I was left all alone Now with tears in my eyes But with all my pain Only a single tear dropped I was left all alone With a single tear running down my cheek With no one to catch it When it splashes to the ground I was left all alone With my pain-filled single tear With nothing but memories With nothing but me After a hurtful experience And all the evidence left Is that one single tear splashing on the ground
